Interdisciplinary Institute of Human Security & Governance

Interdisciplinary Institute of Human Security & Governance (IIHSG ) is an autonomous, non-governmental, non-profit, interdisciplinary research institute that carries out research and policy development on global and local matters pertaining to human security and governance. Our mission is to maintain the balance between research, dialogues, consultancy, and advocacy in our activities.

The International Conference on Human Security & Pandemic (2020), an unprecedented two-day virtual public gathering of around 1000 human security researchers as well as activists of the world, marked the beginning of IIHSG . The founders were a group of academicians, researchers, activists, journalists, and lawyers. It has carved out a niche for itself in the scholar-activist world for its policy studies on human security and governance.
